Introducing the 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz with the new XRT off-road version

The XRT model is placed below the Limited model in the Santa Cruz family, and inside, it uses black H-Rex seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, digital switch and auto-dimming rearview mirror. This version comes with Santa Cruz’s more powerful 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine that produces 281 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque and is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. Santa Cruz XRT is also equipped with a four-wheel drive system as standard.
But in addition to offering the XRT trim, all 2024 Santa Cruz trims now come with new LED headlights and a steering wheel equipped with emotional feedback for lane keeping and blind spot avoidance systems. Also, SEL types and above are now equipped with a dual-zone climate control system. Hyundai hasn’t said anything about pricing for the 2024 Santa Cruz, but for the 2023 model year, the SEL Limited trim, which replaced the XRT, started at $38,935, and the top-of-the-line Limited trim started at $41,905.
The sales of Hyundai Santa Cruz in the first six months of this year increased by 10% to 20,050 units. Ford has not yet released its sales figures for the second quarter of 2023, but the Maverick sold 21,478 units in the first three months of the year alone, which is more than the six-month sales of its Korean rival.
